Festive is just around the corner? Or just finish a whole season long performance? You find your lions look like mine just like the picture below. You might be considering to discard it away of to use them back for coming performance. If you would like to use them again, are they presentable for your performance? Lets keep the words short. I decided to repair them and use it for another long season and rough performances.
Topic I will be covering today is how to patch back broken paint spots and also torn skin area. First of all, prepare the meterial you need to patch them. It will state like the below :
- Paper Mache
- Water Base Glue
- Paint Brush
- Matching Paints
- Gauze (If Neded)

PAPER

Paint, Paint Brush, Glue
|

1. Wet the gauze area with a layer of glue
|

2. Apply the first layer of paper on to the torn area
|

3. Paint a layer of glue on top of the paper
|

4. Apply papers evently until it covers up all the torn area
|

5. All area covered up, apply 1-2 more layer to make it thicker. Leave it dry under the sun
|

6. Start to paing the outline following the original painting
|

7. Fill up colours after outline drafting

8. Before Colour Filling

9. Colour touch up
|

10. After touch up
|

11. Detail touch up on some messy area/over paint area

Please REMEMBER to lecker or apply a layer of clear spray to protect the paint and enhance the the looks to a glossier surface
